Hailing from Geneva, Sinner DC return to the AIrecords fold with a debut album on the label entitled ' Mount Age '.

Listening time is now:

‘Everything is sand' starts off paced and slowly with a tapping beat pattern which tempts out a ghostly electronic vocal from its damp but chemically balanced hiding place. Ticks, slices and gas bursting pops float around in the air as the message starts to become laced with intelligent data and keygens which cannot be used unless you have seventeen valves in your chest. Rich and carved out of silver metals from the very start, sweet stuff.

' On & On' is a booming one way speed walkthrough into the darkest sectors of the new planet which has began to orbit the earth. Dark reverberating and pulsing with fluorescent energy, this track gives off secret messages, whilst ' They never stay' spooks you out at the start with a warbling melody filled to the brim with stuttering clouds and dry chords which soak up all the moisture in the sky. Staticy and full of crunch laden beats, what else do you need.

A large orchestral intro packed with warm waves and a syrupy but crunchy beat pattern drag you face first into 'Afterland'. Large zeppelin shaped pieces of technology float by giving off only slight portions of sound, and drop segments of conversation into your hearing range which scatter on the floor like wafer thin slices of metal falling from a hellbound lathe. Grab your robot helpers hand and get on down.
'Mont-de-marsan' delves into your playground days with a time bending and memory expanding slice of music. Sparkling calls from the dark skies above and bouncing melodies combined with water distorting samples keep you amused for this short slice of musical happiness.

‘Babycat’ is a roaming trawl through that parcel you received but never opened. It's dark but full of hidden pockets of imagination and fluidity which show themselves in tiny dancing patterns of machines, with glowing red chest areas and strobe like feet which keep you occupied. Tingly, star like and built on rivers of running golden syrup, with gondolas formed out of 9 volt batteries. Cool stuff.

'Eternally' corkscrews into your path with an almost seismic melody that jumps around inside your mind flushing out all the miniature nano parasites hidden within. Like a hopscotch game across the entire galaxy, planets and solar systems are aligned into a neat formation, which causes endless messages and transmissions to meld together and dissapear into the darkness.

'Mount Age' is a combination of electronics, mechanical investigations and terraforming sounds, which will stop for nothing. The minimal vocals, captured soundwaves and clever programming all pull together to create another doorstep slice of goodness that Airecords are getting renowned for.

Yet another refreshing piece of music for you to check out.

recommended.
