Zainetica's 3rd solo outing on Boltfish Recordings.

From the very beginning ' When the time comes ' has you drawn in, with almost ghostly murmurings and beeping recoils which to me sounds like a class 5 bending robot....yes I am correct. This track drops it smooth, with simple but razor sharp callings and atmospheric slices...cool stuff.

' Ruined ' plays like a hyper colourful animation, rammed to the gills with sprightliness and zingy zaps covered in a thin layer of gree algae which glows when activated. Dashing scuff beats chop and tangled carvings merge together whilst the almost distorted main melody drops and retracts like a yo yo just breaking the surface of an ambient pond littered with usb carcusses. Cool stuff.

Buzzing floorboards and murmuring hiss clouds crinkle into each other and react in slow motion...yes, its 'Shattered Bones', and dont you forget it. 'Eleven four six two' drops down to its titanium knees and take a slow arcing look at the smog laden sky above and wonder what the hell is actually going on. A gargantuan airship covers the sky and spreads a thick scraping hisscloud of craziness over everything as far as the eye can see......and then all of a sudden it becomes clear. Machine number 1 begins a new journey through this reformed and reprogrammed land, bringing along a pocket of wonder magic, which drops slowly like a freshly popped seed from his smooth polished hand into the virgin land below. Crunchy and crusty with clear cut paths set within, this is a quality track.

This ep is like another glowing page in the ever increasingly impressive Zainetica manual, its stuffed with melodies and security passes to secret doors into to areas of your mind that forget that you have to go to work tomorrow, whist being daubed with thick pulsating storylines from the day after the middle of next week, which cannot help to keep you in check. Awesomeness on a small silicon plate!

We HEART Zainetica.

Sam
