Another new release from one of my favourite labels, Botfish Recordings, this time with the debut release from 'Line Noise', Florida-based owner & curator of LacedMilk Technologies.

"The Sea Glider" kicks it off, and instantly lays down a thudding beat which just emits that essence of clarity and control. Layers of sound bounce together and project flyby images of a sun baked Miami skyline onto the dark side of the moon, whilst a chiming melody pitches itself in the distance, and drops pockets of imagination into all the waiting droids below.

Crystal clear, but full of tiny cracks and glowing repair machines....welcome to 'Blue sea avenum'. Pusling from the start, the track takes you on its slightly damp but warm wing, and coats you in a staticy skin which protects you from the penetrating slices of sunshine when you are this high up. Beware the lazer sharp beats in this one. "Infinitus victus" doesnt stop the adventure, and continues the fuzzy wave like investigation into the databanks and storage silos which litter the landscape. Pure programming and miniscule detail illuminate your face as fraction perfect structures, show you exactly how its done. Top!.

"Blue sky Part 1" is more of a delicate data collecting machine, which doesnt really know its primary mission., but luckily all is there to be revealed. A pillow tearing bassline comes out to play, and gets a bit over friendly and knocks over your little friend, but luckily she effortlessly corrects herself and in all the disarray has knocked a few components loose and has realised her original primary mission.....the adventure begins from now. Awesome stuff.

Line Noise has dropped another piece of the pie into the ever filling pie shaped container that Boltish hold, the auralspace divine ep is a cleverly arranged and engaging piece of music, which has that time travelling feel to it, that has you daydreaming into the glow of the monitor. All props to Line Noise.

All my robots love it.
