The Pendle Coven are back with a fresh new release on Modern Love, check out the previous release my Pendle which was reviewed here <

"R.E.S.P.E.C.T" is on a simple mission to rip it up from the very start. Juttering scratch slices hammering into each other like two fighting workstations are bound together with an insane breakbeat that really doesnt take any shit from your robotic face. This is a trap and youve just walked straight into it and fallen onto the hardcore spikes at the very bottom, and you sure aint escaping. This tumbling non stop train of a track continues to lay down the message and has the heads nodding throughout the known universe....and thats you included. Hammer smash bang rattle and jack yourself into this one, its mandatory Im afraid. KILLER stuff.

"Unit 6" is another missile launched from Camp Coven, with the intent on laying it down in a major way, just give up and let this one have its wicked slow paced crazed way with you, it wont hurt.... "Artifical root" closes down this release with a gleaming experiment of minimal tools managing to release a hugely ear catching sound. Smiling rain sponges drop down from high high above and refuel themselves via a series of light based interfaces, which interact with the hungry visitors giving off a soundtrack esque series of sounds that has you paused in awe of the hidden intelligence playing out in front of you. This one is packed with life.

Pendle Coven are back, and this release is top stuff. Dont pass this one by as you will be missing out on a high quality release, which is rammed to the eyeballs with bass attacks, clever climate changing modulation and grinning landscapes that invite you to explore. Jump right in!

Recommended.
