First full length release from the duo behind HP Stonji on the mighty SpezialMateriallllllllllll.

' meo ' steps up to the plate and dissolves itself directly into that small opening at the inside edge of your eye, causing you to view a highly warped view of the real world. Hippos made of static bounce along to the sound of broken marshmallows bombdiving into vats of superglue whilst a television has a fight with itself in a mirror. That CRAZY meo.

Propellors created from lengths of copper draped in pillowcases and feathers welcome to ' Errorbeauty '. Rotating in space you realise that your thrusters have no use in this endless freefall that you are now trapped within, and the only thing that removes your thoughts from the impending doom is the visual lightshow emitting from the perfect hexagon you are piling towards. Once inside you are treated to a tracing beat pattern and gyroscope swallowing sideshow that is the precursor to an almightly reboot, that sends you and the mathematical shape into the middle of next week. Awesome.

' Amgloc ' takes on the form of a cloud of poisonous gas and fills your lungs with computer melting radiation, whilst ' 247 ' is a lesson and calming message to those of you out there willing to let a robot into your life. Dont ask me what im talking about. ' Redov ' warps you and then wraps you into a tiny case, whilst scattering the room with laser strikes and gushing pulse bombs, loaded with bassy hits and rewinding hardware crashes that dont want to take prisoners. Mind altering updates from HP, love it.
Hidden trapdoors created from lost calculators is how you will be captured in ' Mith '. These you must not fall into, or else you will be hammered with an endless rapture of reversing audio and reverbing satellites, that only want to smash into your face and leave a reminder of why ' Mith ' doesnt take any crap. Plinkkkkk plonkkkkk tszzzzzzz and pop frazzle, this is what you would expect from that damn ' Chld '. This one does play like a ghostly childrens playground anthem as crystal clear strikes meld together with charming smiles and glistening eyes that chant abracadabra at you for three weeks solid. Magical stuff.

' Hagry ' opens a synth and drops it upside down into the late section of a few years ago, but keeps a small tunnel open into today, and lets off a few laser strikes for good luck. Imagine Escape from New York smoothly warped together with every quality game soundtrack you have ever heard and them times that by a gillion. Quality, quality track, love it. ' Nlad ' rounds it all off with an effortless creamy rich rippling static meltdown into the very core of your soul. The thick gloss coating of this one is like a wave of excellence that will not stop until you are completely taken over. Pure atmosphere.

Well well well, you just know thesedays that when that latest SM release lands itself in your tiny tiny hands with its cold gas engines that you are in for something special. Melanie Chole is one of those albums that grabs you by the retina and calmly leads you into its siren like callings via a small escalator like device, carved entirely out of your imagination. HP Stonji have created an amazing album that deserves to be injested by all.
