Werk are back again with a slice of grim / dublame / wackstep.

' Track one ' kicks off with a snapping drumbeats and thudding backroom explosions that emit visions of huge wavering towers of power, which constantly arc pulses of raw colour from those damn outlet vents which sit right above your bedroom. Its a mashup of technology, a big blending pot of manicness which has the habit of peeling up your lovely new wooden laminate floor and creating a huge catapult so you can fling yourselves around like a fuckin maniac. Get dirty you loons.

Flip it over and ' Track 2 ' comes into effect dropping heavy bassy thuds that shake all your ebay bought ornaments off the mantlepiece and watches them shatter into a million pieces on the floor. Wave like functions boot themselves from nothing and spit .exe's at your undercarriage whilst the dirty bassline wallows around in a pit of distortion piling out dancehall style outbursts, egging you on to smash a few windscreens, as you pile through the streets on destruction tip. Massive explosion.

Werk once again rack up a slice of craziness, with this new Genre ' Grim '. Its a hard one to describe, but does have that air of interest and character that keeps you listening. Well worth a listen.

Sam
