Boc Scadet - Vessel In June

Second review this month from the clickclickdrone camp, this time we have Boc Scadet with ' Vessel in June'

' Ganymead ' swims through the thick cream lake mixture that is seeping from the oversized tap, and activates tiny alarms that send out nighttime scuffs into the distance, but ' Ochre ' is a more landscape altering rumble that has a playful skip to the track. Relaxing and thought inducing stuff.

' Solace ' silently folds itself into a million pieces and then spectacularly explodes in another wave of silence, but releases a soundtrack of altered bongo drums that envoke images of deep misty forests with huge alien plants and undiscovered species of plant and robot life rife throughout. ' Parasol ' clicks and spits but only manages to transfer the sounds a short distance, whilst a very majestic melody forces itself through a spongy filter which curves off all the corners and the newly formed shape falls deep into a synthetic dream.
' Innocent bystander ' takes the tiny vocal noises made from a nano sized dupilcator, and sets it over a rich wind like calling with minature porcelain clicks lighting the way for all lost adventurers. ' Iguana ' sets loose a soft beat with a big smile over its curved face which has created a warm rhythm that floats around like an escaped helium balloon which isnt sure what direction to head in. In the end it melts into the blue sky and leaves a yellow sparkling pattern that trickles down towards the ground like a minature waterfall. Cool stuff.

' Shelves and glaciers ' opens an old icey rust valve and lets the trapped noises escape into the crisp cold sky, causing a rumbling momentum to ripple across this abandoned sector like a low flying rocket, whilst ' Semblance ' is a robots dream, formed into a cube and rolled down a hill made of marshmallows.

'Vessel in June' is another highly atmospheric and attention expanding piece of music from Boc Scadet.
