New
various artists release from Clickclickdrone. Happy 1st birthday
CLICK!
The
mighty Z - Arc kicks it off with ' Field Lines '. Crystal
clear laser pulses and deep space callings are cut into
line as the robots jump into the pit of dark oblivion and
dissapear into the middle of the next millenium. Plush ai
music for all. Boc Scadet are next up and drop ' ibiil '.
This one is a calm effortless slide into the misty electronic
depths of a perspex forest in slow motion as your DNA copies
itself and produces near perfect but robotic copies off
you out of marzpian, Love it.
Mint
lets you into a secret story, lined with memory inducing
sounds and cinematic cotton wool people with ' shoes too
big for her feet ' and Shirase releases a half life industrial
rumble called ' Stellar Mapping' that really does employ
visions of vast barren areas of darkness that are urging
you to explore, super atmospheric. October Man fresh from
his Cynical Days release on click brings along Landis for
the ride and treats you to ' fault line ' which is a porcelain
sculpture honed from guitar plucks and smooth melodies that
is rich with character and life. New face Photobook's '
casioland ' is a warped speed run through the centre of
a demo mode with tempo set to max, and muffled vocals causing
the local residents to take notice.
The
lleon is next in line with ' the foe has mastered sleep
' that graduates from a magical piano melody to an even
more beautiful electronic shower sprung from beneath with
super clear drum strikes and brain wobbles. ' Glowfly '
by Lum is a tiny insects sleep pattern etched into a battery,
which is marinated in the wake of a passing meteor and left
to spread life on unknown worlds thorugh its terraforming
mastery. The reclaimed amazon jungle on the tip of your
stylus, excellent track.
Gagarin floats along underneath the new radar with ' 120
cms ' which is a soothing ambient adventure into the heart
of a large energon cube which has roamed through space for
millions of years, tempting fellow travellers to join the
cause and commit sounds to its vast collection. The Gosub
Routine's ' routine 5 ' reverts to a pad jacking industrial
silver extruding attack on its rival company, with the aid
of splashing pixel bombs combined with shards of intense
foam crammed into tiny packages of fun, whilst Cheju takes
it to 3am with his bass controlling, room spinning, disortion
mating theme ' Datec ', Double awesome.
'
Relmm ' from Colamm has a super joy face crafted entirely
out of balls of magnetic plastic and tiny teeny drumbeats
for fingernails, all wrapped in a shiny pearlescent skin
of synthesizer blood, Get on down. The Rumblist plods and
jaunts around with his gyrating head which is mounted on
top of syrupy samples and bucket rattling drumbeats coated
in gleaming electronical electronica. Superb stuff, whilst
Zainetica interferes with your very existence and then drops
you into a pixel perfect world of grassy lands and floating
power blocks all stitched together with calculating beeps,
clicks and hacked sound chips. The perfect message to your
machine friends, ' People more fuel ' is a classic.
Blue chair Red Chair just really goes to emphasize what
clickclickdrone are all about....Quality electronica. You
cannot argue with the genius of this release, just head
on over to the www and introduce those new sections of your
mind to the click and never look back.
It
has you listening again and again..mad stuff.
