New release on ccd. New clickclickdrone artist october man debuts a very special ep that is so much more than the sum of its parts. the beautiful simplicity of this recording will both warm and enrich...

"Daydreamed future" spits out a synthesized harmonica style tune, with a warm mellow bubble like melody bumbling overhead like a bee full of cider on a sunny day down in Devon, crashing into half eaten apples and causing machined dreams to escape into the sky. If you listen carefully you can hear the juttering cries of a farmer paused rewind stuck in a bubble of eternal stutter. That crazy mofo. Cool track.

"Buildings" takes the minimal baton in its mouth, and taps on two tiny drums, creating a simple tranquil background as a forerunner for the jewel laden torrent of melody that glows and glistens like a brand new android, whilst "Arcane" mimics a frogs heartbeat whilst capturing you and your tiny army in a bubble of light, that causes any stray gunfire to send out a bone shaking murmur and fill a percentage of the bubble with plastic shards, that have a slight laugh as they pile in. Damn that bubble, we are all well stuck.

"Alter" is a very short one, inviting you into the static porcelain mind of the October Man himself. One waveform of gurgling staticness, with a very subtle childhood memory melody peeping over its shoulder in the background, and waving with a huge sunshine hand, formed out of branch like glass tubes that gently brush together in the wind.

"Cynical Days ep" is a minimal and experimental expansion pack, which is locked into the clickclickdrone records team. A bit 2 minimal for my personal taste, but still well executed and giving off an air of mysterious intrigue, that doesnt fail to have you listening in.
