Yo. Once again we are treated to a new Ai release, and this one comes straight from the brain of a Mr Dez Williams.
A new recruit into the Ai fold, last sighted on his excellent double pack 'Elecktronik Religion' for yorkshire's finest Electroic SCSI-Av label, late 2003 finding its way into boxes stateside through to globwe trotting jockeys like Ellen Allien.

"No mean feat" begins on a landscape revealing Techno tip and is a forerunner of whats to come. Mean drums with a revolving lightbeam of a melody protect a fledgling beat that begins to emerge from within the intense shine. The beat takes control and drags you along, skimming above the sharp glass shard city, leaving an almost acid style trail behind as the computer rebooting message spreads through this tiny galaxy. Imagine Tron on some form of mind altering drug, dipped in synthetic brain soup for good measure. Supreme track.

"Flob" cascades towards you on a bed of chalky dry beats as the cold air surrounding this lifeform whips up and scratches all the nearby surfaces with equal measure, revealing a makeshift beat that is hard to ingnore. Everything builds up, into an immense, personality enriching, towering organic building, which reaches up into the misty sky and scrapes the borders of our planet. Pure nighttime detroit style excellence. Dez does it again, try to stay off the dancefloor for this one.
Heavy calculating and rich is one way to describe "Flob". The beat instantly takes the role of guide, forcing you into a craft and sending you up into the higher limits of this metropolis. Looking down from this glass formed vehicle, the lights and pulsing warnings reaching up to you with an outstretched arm, merge together to create a machined percussion that bounces around you with insane speed. This is a hard one to even describe, it fills your head and takes over as being process number one, and you are forced to listen. Whistle, beat, flash gordon style for you to love, and you cant NOT love this one. Amazing x 300.

"When push comes to shove" hands you the thick golden coin and points out the way to go, the way to go seems into some 4d world full of emerging characters and warped figments of imagination, will you go in?. Blimey, this one is a chaos bomb, attempting to sing a merry tune on its way to rip some destruction, picking up all the available powerups on the way just for a laugh, whilst scratchy lifeforms hitch a ride and get into a ruckus for no reason.
Please listen to this, its bordering on the super amazing for me. SO good.

Well I dont know how AI do it but they keep releasing insanely good stuff over and over again. Dez Williams has just upped the ante ONCE again so we will have to see what Ai013 has to offer to continue this almost effortless quality.

So good, that the words above do not do it any form of justice, just GET THIS RELEASE.

Classic

Sam
