' Outside records who hail from North Carolina are a rapidly carving a niche for themselves offering international record boxes a fresh, groundbreaking spin on the most hardy perennial, dancefloor electro. Eps from Ben Milstein, Carl Finlow and Daz Quayle's Scarleton project have impressed recently with ruged mashups and schizoid jacking a given. Nktar is the latest addition to Outside's increasingly unmissable roster'. On with z listening..

"Truiam" thrusts itself about the dancefloor with a deep pop of a bassline, as the drum machine creeps past on the way to the bar, giving off a smooth motor driven tempo that you can all get down to. Then, the stimulating, almost wall like main melody comes into effect, and sends out wobbling messages of electro sub to make sure everyone knows its back in town. Flood like resonance that gives off a professional aura, its all good.

"Rite thru" takes it a slower tempo this time, giving off the message, that its here to shake some things up. Mutilated sounds flick through the air like coins into a fountain, as the bass it put on the backburner for the the host pcs voice to read out its manifesto to the crowds below. The bass now let loose, pounds out a refined message that gradually builds upto a rotor spinning spell, that overwhelms your attention and keeps you listening. Top shit.
"Venom" lays down a dirty grime laden bassline, which in real life, runs just beneath the earths crust like an ever present voice, whilst a warm melody skims the stratosphere, dragging its toe in the earths personal space and raining down tiny pellets of soothing audio to all below. Get in line for the astral shower.

"ways2go" is the final track on the release. This one is speaker breaking from the very start, with a heavy heavy bassy static pulse, that rips right through your skin but leaves no mark. Oscilation runs so deep throughout this one, with a massively dark booming undertone which gushes along like a fresh tributary off the main river. Fresh.

Fully recommended, If you like a big cup full of deep calculating electro stylings, with ice cubes full of climate and construction, that fills your mind right up. Track this one down.
