Number two in the 'Residents association' series currently firing out of the Cactus Island Recordings camp.

"The power of corridors" lets a magic powder out of the small valve on its chest, and captures your gaze with its minimal tinklings. Investigation capsules covered in pops and drumthuds investigate all those unprocessed items that you continually store away in your mind, and come away with jems of knowledge to be used for a sinister masterplan. Evil I tells ya. Spinning glass bugs, with glass fingers, and glass like backpacks are questioning you, so many questions, just so many, it surely has to be "Stitched Switch".
This one continues the minimal essence of TPOC, by giving off its message through a symphony of heartbeats and minature alarms, all pushed and prodded into the cavity like insides of an abandoned 9 volt battery. Just remember to keep your tongue off them there terminals.

"Half an echo" harks of an orchestral symphony being played within a secret patch of red and blue mushrooms, and only the residents of this weird clicky world get to witness the event. Refined sounds are sprayed out like a fine liquid mist into the air, creating a warm fuzzy crunch, that hovers about ear height and interferes with your lovely new earlobes, spreading a staticy chime hiss to your core. Xylophone ghosts made of aluminum and mirrors will be your friend on this one.

Kelp is a very well crafted and mesmorising release by Flotel. A bit to minimal for my palette, but if you are a fan of this genre, definetly check this out.
