First release on Projector Records to cross my path, lets have a listen.

"Hippy - Bumblepop" is first with the shortest track ever (4 seconds) consisting of a beep goin a little crazy. I like it. "Noakes presure" are up next with 'Neil armstrong'. Giving off the feel of Plone mixed with the slightest smooth jazz style rumblings, the tiny breaking glass pebbles are rich with funk, and encourage the calmness to sneakily captures the drum rumblings and releases them into a lovely rich green field of lushness. Chilled stuff.

Cabin 33's "reel robot" begins with a ninteen fifties style self help advertisement laced with background bongo jungle style adding an air of mystery, whilst the rigid chumley warner vocals continue with their message, whilst "Shep - Razor" drops more of an electronic style tune for us all to bounce to. Calming and refreshing from the very beginning, you are soon transfixed by the rotating fuzz vocal that somehow invades every single part of your head and leaves a slight remannt of crackle fuzz, just so you remember. A really excellent track.

"Verical Cat" step to the stage with "Easter" that takes you deep into the heart of an organic lo fi jazz style party that is invite only. Luckily you have an invite. The room is packed as you work your way to the stage to soak into the guitar piano rattle drum style that is being eminated from the dark smoky stage, and its all good. This is a rich mix of head nodding filter loving quality. Love this track.
"Volunteer" insists that its "not my fault", but I somehow think it is, but I really dont mind what he has done, as this track is damn fine. Slow and pulsing from the start, it has elements of the style that Bola is known for, but also adds something of its own, including reloading weapons and hissy drum presses that encourage the listener to drink it all down. Damn thats a fine pint of sci fi electronica with bass striking ice cubes. The same again please barman.

"Sven Ynch - madam" claps you onto the dancefloor as you get ready to bust some moves, and yehhh the bassline is there to deliver. The stutter hammer vibe releases the heavy electro style, whilst the drums strike and repeat themselves off each other like a bunch of crazy hummingbirds, intent on causing chaos. " Yikmin" drops a chilled, smoky room full acoustic fuelled with sixties vibe entitled "Scotch Bonnet" whilst "Peter Nofi's - Scabies" is a tiny train ride deep into the heart of a drunken photocopier with its one mission, and that one mission is to throw itself down the stairs, thus needing an upgrade. A pocket full of metal whirrings, playground melodies and secrets for you all to enjoy. Cool as.

"HarD_Sk" give us "ffktwar" which is more of a revolving barrel ride deep into Projector country, with a heavy bass engine and a stylish drum pattern exhaust, which chucks out a barrel of fumes that fills the landscape right up. The attacking feel to this track, gives off more of a squelch style and is held into place with the insane screech vocal calling out like a loony tune in the background. Interesting stuff.

Have to say that 'Know your monkey' is a cool compilation. It has so much variation, that you dont have the chance of getting bored and skipping a few tracks to hear something fresh, as the variety on this release is all good. Jumping from electronic sci fi rich soundscapes to underground lo-fi clubs and then back to the brain samples of semi asleep computers, there is something here to really keep you listening in. Get it.
