"Adjunct" bomb dives itself into a huge battery
full of used voices which spiral around you like a coil of
electric which is intent on stealing your lifeforce for evil
purposes. Washing over you like a pulse stream from a model
4000 data analyser, the melody is refreshing and chilled,
and bubbles like a simmering vat of water.
The beat clicks and thuds away as a reminder that you are
not alone on this secret journey through this processed land.
Be sure to tip the border guards well, as they have short
memories and even shorter laser phazers. Excellent track.
"Faded
pictures" streams playground samples direct onto your
left eye and right ear, as a syrupy broody melody begins
to pick itself up off the floor. The calls, screams and
squeals, merge directly into the thick cloud of time which
is attempting to close this window on the past, alongside
glitchy static waves of tomorrow dragging you back to reality.
But worry not, your tiny robot army arent hear to make up
numbers and attack the fog beast with a barrage of pellets
and minature rockets, which tick and scratch away with a
level of accuracy only our machined friends can perform.
Smooth, rhythmic summer skills by Kalroy.
"Pivotal moments" lays down a mellow watery melody
which lifts the darkness from the horizon with the whole
outlook it gives off. Subtle whirs, beeps and tape loading
callouts are pushed together in the background, creating
a bubble pressing workshop rhythm that has the switches
clicking and the transistors popping. Its all about the
beat patterns and the databanks in this one, just someone
watch that harddrive as it looks like its gonna implode.
Quality.
The second release on mp3 label Boltfish and its getting
better all the time. Karmoy plays the game with chilled
lives and small powerful powerups, and then ditches them
all to take it back to the level, how can all this be free?.
Mad shit.
Coming next month : BOLT003: Zainetica - remembrance e.p
